I just had an epiphany.
Perhaps my usual routine between performances at my residency could be used more productively (yoga? macrame?) This isn’t necessarily a brand new revelation, but a new spin on things in relation to this site.
A few years ago I realized that I was going to most likely be spending a significant amount of time staring at my device. Let’s be real here, the amount of things we can do on these things is incredible. Acquiescing to this new addiction, I decided that I might as well try and do something productive. After a recommendation from my friendly neighborhood grocer (maybe a little too friendly – but that’s a whole other blog post), I decided to download Duolingo and continue studying Spanish post-Rosetta Stone.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m still pretty horrible at Spanish, amigos, but I’m better than I would’ve been had I discovered Clash Royale a few years earlier.
Clash Royale could quite possibly be the greatest iPhone game of all-time. But, unfortunately it isn’t giving me any notable skills or returns other than elevated blood pressure readings after devastating triple crown losses.
I’m trading my War Deck for the Word Press and I hope that we will all be better for it.
Let’s see how this thing goes.
